One of the mainstays who suffered an injury (knee) that kind of diluted his effectiveness, resulting to a not so fruitful campaign by the Kings in 2009-10. Caguioa sat out the whole 2008-09 season to strengthen both his knees in the United States but he just was not the same player when he returned last year. Though Caguioa still managed to average 11.9 points per game in 34 matches, he was nowhere near the Caguioa of old. Like the other star players, if Caguioa can recover his deadly form and stay healthy the whole season, the Kings and their Barangay are up for a big year.
