After a brief stint with Sta. Lucia in the Philippine Cup, the man-mountain center found his way back to the team in a three-team trade that involved Beau Belga of Air21 and JR Quinahan, who went back to the Express. The injury of Ranidel de Ocampo means more minutes for Peek on the floor. The 35-year-old center averaged just 8.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game last season but remained the most efficient player in field goal percentage. Peek shot 57.39% from the field and his 1.2 blocks per game ranked No. 2 in that category, proof that he’s still a force to reckon with in the paint.
