Stats wise, the former Ateneo star averaged a career-high 10.4 points per game last season and everybody thought his time has arrived. However, injuries slowed down his terrific start that somehow also affected Ginebra’s campaign. The high-leaping 6-4 slam dunk artist finally shook off the jitters and proved he deserved being the No. 4 overall pick in the 2007 Draft. Intal also averaged 4.4 rebounds and a personal-best 21.4 minutes per night, proof that coach Jong Uichico has given enough trust and confidence to the promising forward.
