A high pick in the 2008 Draft at No. 4 by Talk ‘N Text, Reyes spent most of his rookie year on the bench as he averaged just 1.6 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. When he was traded to Barako Coffee last season, he finally got the opportunity to show us what he can do. The 6-6 center-forward averaged career-highs of 5.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in 23 matches with the Coffee Masters. Seems that was enough to convince coach Bo to give up Asi for Reyes late in the offseason. The ackward Reyes may play back up for Dennis Espino or play alongside him at the power forward spot.
