When coach Ryan Gregorio assumed the coaching reins, he made sure that this former PCU standout won’t go elsewhere for he knows Omolon will play significant minutes in his rotation despite having a career-low 2009-10 season. The 30-year-old forward averaged just 6.1 points per game the previous season, his lowest in six years with the defunct Sta. Lucia squad. His rebounding also dropped from 5.5 to 3.8 rpg last season. Gregorio hopes that the 6-3 workhorse will find his old game back with the Bolts.
