A serious ailment nearly ended his career two years ago but the former San Sebastian standout overcame the hurdle and is now back playing the sport he loves. After seeing action in only 14 games in 2008-09 season, Adducul suited up for 31 last season and averaged 1.6 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. The 34-year-old center may have lost a step or two but leadership ability is what he brings to the table. Once the most sought after big man in the land, Adducul’s presence on the bench is already a big boost to the team as he is a natural leader and sets a good example to his teammates.
